We aim to enhance academic and research collaborations, promote faculty and student exchange programs, encourage community engagement, and facilitate the sharing of resources and best practices. Our mission is to empower faculty and students through collaborative research opportunities, professional development, and engagement with external stakeholders, ensuring the continued pursuit of educational excellence at GSCWU.

Objectives & Responsibilities

• Standardize Agreements: Assist in developing Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with various institutions to formalize partnerships aligned with university goals.
• Enhance Collaboration: Establish and strengthen academic and research collaborations with external organizations.
• Promote Exchange Programs: Facilitate faculty and student exchange opportunities that enrich academic and cultural experiences.
• Support Research Initiatives: Encourage collaborative research projects with national and international partners.
• Community Engagement: Develop outreach initiatives that strengthen university-community relationships.
• Resource Sharing: Promote the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and educational resources among partner institutions.
• Monitoring & Evaluation: Evaluate partnerships, programs, and collaborative initiatives to ensure effectiveness, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Leadership Team

Dr. Musarrat Azher

Director, Directorate of External Linkages
Professor of English at Government Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur. She is a Fulbright Post-Doctoral Scholar (2022–2023) and recipient of the HEC National Research Program for Universities (NRPU) grant (2019). Her research interests include Pakistani Academic Writing, Gender Studies, ELT, and Humor Linguistics. She has published more than 70 research articles, serves as Editor of the Research Journal of Language and Literary Studies, and has supervised numerous M.Phil. research theses.

Dr. Uzma Maqbool

Additional Director, Directorate of External Linkages
A dedicated academic and researcher specializing in Animal Nutrition, Feed Science, and Environmental Science. She has extensive experience in teaching, research, academic leadership, and capacity building. She also serves as Additional Director Career Counseling Centre and Focal Person for Climate Change and SDGs at GSCWU.

Dr. Aliya Ahmad Shaikh

Deputy Director, Directorate of External Linkages
Assistant Professor, Human Resource Professional, Academician, and Researcher. Her expertise includes training and development, employability skills, learning styles, and workforce development. She completed both her PhD and Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the Institute of Business, Management and Administrative Sciences, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
