Introduction

Keeping in view the importance of sports, the Sports Administration provides students with opportunities to participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor games. The University offers playing fields for Cricket, Hockey, Football, Handball, and Volleyball, along with indoor facilities including a Badminton Hall and Table Tennis Room. Sports facilities for female students are managed by the respective Sports Office. Every year, sports competitions are organized at Inter-Board, Intra-Departmental, Inter-Faculty, Inter-Collegiate, Inter-District, and All Pakistan Inter-University levels.

Aims & Objectives

• To arrange coaching and training courses for sports leaders and student athletes.
• To prepare Pakistan University teams for participation in Inter-University, National, International, Inter-Board, Inter-Collegiate, Provincial, and Regional competitions.
• To select Pakistan University teams for foreign tours and national competitions.
• To award medals, trophies, certificates, and other honors to outstanding student athletes.
• To organize and facilitate conferences, seminars, workshops, lectures, research, and other sports-related activities.
• To promote sports including Athletics, Table Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, Handball, Tug of War, Cricket, Judo, Netball, Mas Wrestling, and Hockey.
• To conduct friendly matches with different colleges and The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.
