Department of Islamic Studies

The department commenced in the year 2013, simultaneously along with the establishment of the Govt. Sadiq College Women University Bahawalpur. The department is rendering services for holding short courses and long courses including M.A and M.phil courses. The curriculum undertaken by the department is the balanced combination of personality and character of students. The curriculum aims at the infusion of faith sensitivity, problem solving skills and critical thinking in order to cope with the modern social problems. Therefore, the department imparts Islamic teaching services to all the departments of the university.
