Planning & Development Directorate
Introduction
The Planning and Development Directorate is the backbone of the University which plays a vital role in its growth and development. P&D Directorate has been functioning since the inception of GSCWU as per the guidelines of HEC and the Planning Commission of Pakistan. The basic objective of this Directorate is to arrange development funds for strengthening and progress of the University to provide quality education and research facilities. All development projects are prepared by the Directorate and submitted by the University to HEC and other funding agencies.
Achievements and Future Plan
The Provincial Government has been generous in allotting a piece of land measuring 125 Acres for the establishment of the University's new campus near Bahawalpur Airport. Master planning for the construction of facilities on the said land is currently underway.
